The charts on this page depict the progression of Solar Cycle 23. The
charts and tables are updated by the Space Environment Center monthly
using the latest ISES predictions. Observed values are initially the
preliminary values which are replaced with the final values as they
become available.
Looks like we are quickly
approaching the bottom of Cycle 23, reports W3LPL, Frank Donovan.
On April 17th the NOAA's Space Environment Center released their
"first 45 day solar flux forecast" with no predicted days of
the "solar flux over 70". You can see the predicted
numbers at http://www.sec.noaa.gov/ftpdir/latest/45DF.txt
. This is just "another milestone leading to the end of
Solar Cycle 23", reminds LPL.
