1961 - 2011 50 Years of Continuous Operation
Bill Bennett, W7PHO, SK For those who did not know Bill, he started this net in 1961 and was an icon to everyone who come in contact with him. He lived and died helping fellow Hams to work DX. I am one of the lucky ones who had the honor of knowing Bill, not only as one of his alternate net controllers, but as trustees at WWDXC and most of all as a personal friend.
